Our portfolio consists primarily of retail real estate assets which include: multi-tenant shopping centers, single credit tenant triple-net leased, joined and freestanding buildings. We categorize our strategies as both stabilized and value-add or repositioning opportunities, as well as ground-up development projects.
We offer both traditional real estate fund investments to individual Accredited Investors and Delaware Statutory Trust (DST) products for those completing a Section 1031 "like-kind" exchange.
Our past experience, and hence our expertise, is in actively managed multi-tenant and single-tenant properties. When it comes to re-leasing, build-out and/or capital improvements, we know who to call and how to handle it. We’ve developed many of our current acquisition criteria to avoid the pitfalls associated with these types of properties. We’re aware that a building’s physical condition, market conditions, debt exposure and existing rental rate are all components of risk. By offering our real estate investment products through select financial institutions, individual investors are able to leverage Ford's years of experience and conservative, strategic approach to income generating real estate investments for their own portfolio.
